T-Ball (Half-Over)

I hate to say it but the season is half over!  The time certainly goes fast especially when we have two games in one week.  We really appreciate all the help we receive from the parents during the games.  It's difficult to "herd some of our cats" during the games but the constant help actually steers our children right along and our meager attempt to have them maintain focus works.  It's funny, sometimes I don't see the focus immediately but I know the children are developing strong skills.  Again, thank you parents!

Ask your child what they do after they hit the ball and hopefully they say, "Drop the bat and run to First Base." If they don't say that, remind them.  :-) We're encouraging our team to not hog the ball when it's hit, but rather back up team mates who are going for the ball.  We moved up more towards home plate in order to field the ball after it's been hit and it's working.  Please encourage T-Ball team work at home.  Our team is really progressing and it's quite satisfying to see it.

Pictures were great!  Thanks for showing up so early this morning to have them taken.  We actually were able to begin our game early before the heat of the day!  See you all at Tuesday's practice.  We'll remain at 6 pm at the same location. I was thinking about scrimmaging with the Black Bats a couple more times before the end of the season (6 June).  Anyone else game?  Let me know in a blog comment.

PS: Did you see the crop duster this morning?  It certainly distracted me!  I love flying but Carrie won't allow me to go fly crop dusters--something about dangerous...

I continue to do home inspections and thermal imaging weekly.  These inspections can be critical when buying a home, trying to determine how to save energy, or a simple home tune-up to ensure nothing bad is going on with our home systems.  If you know anyone buying a home in our general vicinity, have them call us if they are looking for a home inspection.  If anyone needs a roof inspected to check for damage, to see if that upstairs bathroom is leaking into the ceiling, or if the AC is producing, we do that too.  We don't do repairs--we inspect and report.
Why I miss flying
