My Qualifications

I am a professional; spent more than half of my life in the military.  I am the Director of Operations for CalNACHI, California's Premier Home Inspectors organization.  Working hard all day is not foreign to me--I inspect every day of the week, available from dawn until dusk, and inspect on weekends as well as most holidays in order to suit your needs and I am fully insured.  I've grown up in a construction family and maintained experience while in the military.  I enjoy continuing my education holding MBA, BPA, and AAS degrees and a certificate in home inspection and another in thermography.  During my spare time I add in specialty courses ensuring I remain on the pointed edge of the spear--ensuring you receive the absolute BEST I can give.  In order to give you this best, I do the following: 
  • Certified Thermographer
  • fulfill and exceed the required minimum of 24 hours continuing education each year in the inspection field alone
  • am a member in good standing of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors
  •  have vast experience in roofing, plumbing, home remodeling, and electrical
  •  abide by InterNACHI’s Code of Ethics
  •  follow InterNACHI’s Standards of Practice
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Electrical Course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Structural Course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Safety Practices Course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Green Building Course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's TPR Valve discharge pipe mini-course
  •  have taken InterNACHI Roofing Course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Vermiculite Insulation mini-course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Polybutylene Plumbing mini-course
  •  have taken InterNACHI's Emergency Exit Course
  •  own and use high-tech equipment
  •  am available Saturdays and Sundays

  •  offer quarterly maintenance tips
  •  provide easy-to-read inspection reports (computer generated)
  • I am affiliated with two different independent laboratories offering analysis for water, lead, asbestos and mold
